Bowlr FAQ

I have lost my user number/name. How can I find what out what it is?

Contact any of the bowler admin team. Malcolm Vickery, Brian Murphy, Gillian Gibson or Patrick Day

I have lost my Bowlr Password, how do I reset it or get a reminder?

The standard password is in the format of first initial, surname, and then user number with preceding zero(s) to make up a total of four digits—all lowercase. For example, Donald Duck whose user number is 666 – his standard password would be “dduck0666”. If you had previously changed your password from the standard it will be necessary for the admin team to perform a manual reset for you. Don’t hesitate to get in touch with Malcolm Vickery, Brian Murphy, Gillian Gibson or Patrick Day.

How do I respond to an “Are you available to play” Invite
  1. Click on the Respond to invite link
  2. Log onto Bowlr using your number and password
  3. This will take you to the Club matches screen. The matches available to you will be shown.
  4. Click on the green YES or orange NO button on RHS. You may need to scroll using a mobile or tablet device.

How do I book a rink for the internal competitions
  1. Log into Bowlr as normal using your number and password
  2. On desktop click onto “My account” button top LHS of screen, or on mobile device this will be the three horizontal lines top RHS and select “My account.
  3. Then select the “My Club competition matches”
  4. You will then see a list of all your internal competition matches with all details including the competition title, opponent, play-by-date, and if the booking has been made the date and time of your match. If the match has not been booked there is an option to book a slot. From a mobile device, you may need to scroll sideways to see the “Book a slot” button.
  5. From the “Book a slot” button you will be taken to the normal rink booking procedure. Please note that two provisional rink booking can be made so that an options can be given to your opponent and the unused one canceled later.

This is the preferred method of booking the rinks for the competitions and has several advantages

  • The Rink booking is prepopulated with the match details.
  • Your opponent automatically receives an email confirmation of the booking
  • The booking appears on your opponents’ competition match listing – all players if playing as a team.
  • The booking appears on the competition listing for all to see and come along and cheer you on.
  • The Match Secretary is able to see at a glace what matches are booked, which is especially important if we are getting close to the Play-by-date.
I have received an “Are you available to play” Invite but can’t find the match on the list

There is a bug in the Bowlr system and it doesn’t always display the club matches available to you in strict chronological order. Scroll down to the bottom of the list This occurs when an additional match is added during the season
